I only just started this book, and so far, I'm impressed. The author kept to almost the same writing style, but I'm starting to realize that the intensity of this book is on some whole new flippen level. Like, you look at a painting some artist made and you're like, "Whoa, check out that detail, this is cray-cray," and that's what I'm going through with this book. I have a love-hate relationship with the plot twists though. They make the book impossible to put down, but some of the stuff that happens is just too much. Pretty much everyone dies, but then so many end up not dead, and I'm just here like, "Hey bro, if you could stop killing my favorite characters... Yeah, that'd be great." Also, when an author kills a character, the person should just stay dead. Don't bring my favorite character back just to kill them a little later. Alexandra Bracken, the author, seems to love doing that. I can't give names or specific details without ruining the book, but stuff happens. I'd definitely recommend this whole series to anyone, but it's a traumatizing experience, so those who choose to read this series should keep that in mind.

I have those moments in books too! You have to sit for a moment and take it in. I love your voice! Aka writing style.
